Cookies and browser storage
AVATON’s essential session, theme, guidance, and human-verification storage explained.
Effective 1 September 2026.
Essential and functional storage
AVATON uses browser session storage for the current sign-in token and active workspace. Theme and guidance preferences and a preferred workspace may use local storage. These help the website function and remember choices. Clearing storage resets these choices and can sign you out.
Security and external providers
Short-lived OAuth flow cookies help protect sign-in from forgery and replay. Cloudflare human verification and security services may use their own technical signals or storage. Google or OpenAI may use their own cookies when you choose to sign in with them. Their notices apply to that processing. See Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Addendum at https://www.cloudflare.com/turnstile-privacy-addendum/.
No advertising trackers
This version of AVATON does not add advertising cookies or optional analytics trackers. If we add optional tracking later, we will explain it and obtain consent where required before it is enabled. Essential security processing and any mandatory rights remain governed by applicable law.
Your choices
Use the Light mode / Dark mode control or Settings to change saved preferences. You can delete or block browser storage through your browser; some features may stop working. Contact contact@avaton.dev with questions. This notice should be read with the Privacy Policy.
